When goods have been registered for transport, we reserve capacity for these goods in our truck. This can still be cancelled free of charge one day before the actual collection / delivery. If the transport is cancelled on the day itself, this space in the truck is reserved for nothing. To compensate for this order that was cancelled too late, we are forced to pass on 70% of the freight rate to the client. These costs are referred to as a wasted journey charge.
