New colleague – Kyle Royle

As some of you may have noticed from our quotation emails, we have a new colleague here in Manchester, Kyle.

At just 21 years of age, Kyle has embarked on the start of his career in the industry here at Heebink, and has impressed us with how quickly he has already become a valued member of our team. Hungry to develop his knowledge and understanding, Kyle is surrounded with colleagues with huge amounts of experience in the industry, and we are all here to support him on his journey.

In the next few weeks and months, Kyle will be learning all about our UK import department and over time, naturally become part of our operations team.

Departure of a colleague – Thys Hartley

After almost 11 years, Thys Hartley will be leaving Heebink later this month, with his last day being Friday 25th July.

Thys started his career at Heebink initially providing holiday cover in Manchester office and having impressed with his ability to control operations desks confidently during these periods of holiday cover, when the opportunity arose, it was a perfect fit for Thys to move into a full time position.

The last 8 years have seen Thys take the lead in our UK export department, providing an impressively high standard of customer service at all times, expertly navigating changes in the industry, most notably with the UK’s departure from Europe and the Customs requirements that followed.

We would like to offer our gratitude to Thys for his dedication and commitment during his time here and on a personal note, it has been a real pleasure to watch his development over the years and to have him here not only as a member of our team, but as a friend too.

The people change, but the process remains the same!

Despite these changes to our colleagues here in Manchester, the show will go on, as they say. We will still be here offering the same high level of service to all customers, and be on hand to offer support at all times.
