We would like to keep you informed about the outbreak of the Coronavirus and what this means for our services:
- At present, all borders for professional goods transport are still open and as long as this is the case, we will still maintain services to these countries.
- For groupage shipments, the transit times during this period may be longer than you normally experience when utilising our services.
- If you receive information from your supplier or unloading addresses regarding adjusted times / special on site requirements, then we would appreciate this information at the earliest opportunity.
- In the event we hear nothing from you then we will continue, wherever possible, to deliver in the normal manner anything you have come to expect from us.
Precautions Heebink transport;
Heebink Transport has instructed all its employees to adhere to the RIVM (the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) guidelines:
- The following applies to all employees;
- Wash hands with soap every half hour if possible.
- Drivers should keep their cabs clean.
- Drivers only sleep in a single berth cabin during the ferry crossing.
- We spread our equipment as much as possible over the available sea crossings.
- They must keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from the people they communicate with.
- They are expected to put on clean (outer) clothing every day.
- Coughing with their faces turned away from other persons in tissue paper or the inside of the elbow.
- Disinfectants are available in all departments.
- Drivers should avoid busy areas at all times.
- Any additional measures can still be taken if and where necessary.
